Tilføj en ny genvej med direktivet shortcut. I webadressen (URLen) erstattes "%s" med teksten overdraget til den navngivne genvej, efter url encoding af den, og '%S' erstattes med den rå, ukodede tekst. Desuden erstattes %W med teksten kodet specielt til Wikipedia. Den valgfri desc-parameter styrer beskrivelsen af henvisningen.

Husk at name-parameteren som du tildeler genvejen bliver et nyt direktiv. Undgå et navn som er i strid med et eksisterende direktiv. Disse direktiver accepterer også en desc-parameter som vil overskygge den der blev angivet ved definitionen.
